I watched the movie yesterday with my family. My wife took it kind of hard because our oldest has just recently deployed to Afghaniland. Even though our son isn’t in the SEALS or any other special forces unit, he is an infantryman and the possibility to be killed is great. I think the narration at the end about living your life to the fullest was inspiring. The other thing I wondered was when the final scene was taking place in Mexico was that is the place our troops need to be, clearing out the murdurous scum there. As for Afghanistan, bomb it to the ground and remove our troops, it aint worth another drop of American blood in my opinion.

100% Agree.
Thank you to you and your wife for raising such a fine man who would answer the call.
As for removing the troops from the Stan and redeploying them to the southern border, keep in mind that we must meet the enemy wherever it’s evil heads appear. The octopus analogy that was once used for communism is still relevant, but there are more than one octupi in the “ocean”. This one has tentacles all over. I recommend seeing “Charlie Wilson’s War” as a way of understanding why we’re in Afghanistan now. And since we are there, it is untenable that we should leave.
God bless your son and your family! Please contact Operation Gratitude so his unit can get boxes this drive.
