Newt supported the mandate for nearly two decades. He saw the light when he decided to run. I’m not much impressed with death bed confessions so to speak. And if you claim he did not support the mandate then it is you who is the liar.

The mandate is as unconstitutional as Obama ordering religious groups to provide that which offends their consciences to their employees. Both Santorum and Newt are on the right side of that issue. You, I have my doubts.

Newt and Santorum have virtually identical ratings from the ACU with Santorum representing a blue state and Newt representing a deep red state. And only one of them that I know of has supported a policy that is clearly unconstitutional no matter what SCOTUS says.

As for your attacks on Santorums social conservatism only liberals react like demons who have been dipped in holy water. And you’re smoking pal.

“Newt supported the mandate for nearly two decades. He saw the light when he decided to run. I’m not much impressed with death bed confessions so to speak. And if you claim he did not support the mandate then it is you who is the liar.”

Like I said, these smears are all you got. I said in my previous post that no Santorumbot ever defends Saint Rick’s platform. I’m specifically asking you now to explain how Saint Rick’s platform is better than Newt’s, or why it is that he offers so little real reform for the “true conservative” in the race. I also specifically made mention of Santorum’s claims to be the most “consistent consservative,” which you don’t even address and just keep on attacking the other guy. As for the ACU rating, Newt’s is better, not “identical”. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2815398/posts

And as for “death bed” confessions. I guess Santorum’s death bed confessions on Right to Work, gun rights, property rights, and endorsing Specter for both congress and the Presidency are “death bed” election year confessions. Well, he hasn’t explained endorsing Specter for President.

So everytime you bash Newt with this BS, I can take it to Santorum even worse. The “true consistent conservative” meme is a lie, and few Santorum supporters are willing to come to grips with that, still insisting on repeating the tired accusations against Newt as if it somehow vindicates them. It doesn’t, and it never will.

“The mandate is as unconstitutional as Obama ordering religious groups to provide that which offends their consciences to their employees. Both Santorum and Newt are on the right side of that issue. You, I have my doubts.”

But yet you insult Newt, suggesting he isn’t a conservative, and me too. If Santorum isn’t the “true consistent conservative” he claims to be, then I am correct that he has been wrong to criticize Newt’s personal character, and not just Newt, but the other candidates he has distorted and bashed.

“As for your attacks on Santorums social conservatism only liberals react like demons who have been dipped in holy water. And you’re smoking pal.”

You don’t know what you’re talking about. I have not attacked Santorum’s social conservatism. I have attacked his lack of a legitimate platform and his embrace of social conservatism as a cover for his lack of a legitimate platform, as well as his insistence of being pure when he is not, and the insistence of Santorum’s supporters to Lord over everybody else as if they’re the only legitimate Christians who are merely defending a “godly man” from anti-Christian attacks. It’s all rubbish. It’s all built on delusions upon further delusions. It be funny to analyze how much Santorum’s supporters who repeat these anti-Christian accusations actually know about Christian doctrine. It be funny if it turned out that the Heathens knew the Bible better than they.
