This article seems predicated on the assumption that the GOP is going field a viable candidate.

Doesn't matter. We could nominate Elmer Fudd and still beat Obama. Our argument should not be if we can beat Obama but who do we want to win with and why.

We are in dire need of a president that can move the senate and house and the American people into radical reform mode to get control of runaway government. It is for that reason I support Newt Gingrich. It is why I really wanted Sarah Palin to run.

IMO, neither Romney nor Santorum have any desire to take on the "powers that be" in DC. I DO NOT support them at all.

“We could nominate Elmer Fudd and still beat Obama.”

I’ve seen the Stupid Party lose to JFK, LBJ, Bozo Carter, Slick Willy Clinton (twice), and the Bamturd once. I try never to underestimate their ability to put together a deadly-accurate circular firing squad.

I mean, if they were smart, people wouldn’t have been calling them “the Stupid Party” for decades.
