Gingrich suffers from very low support among women voters: Just before the FL primary, a Florida poll showed Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney were neck and neck among male voters, but Romney was leading Gingrich by 19 points among women. This appears to be a permanent deficit even on a national basis that makes him un-electable to say nothing of the $1.6m FreddieMac albatross around his neck, and of establishing permanent moon based colonies at a time of $16T national debt.
Now, Obama is hinting that Gingrich is making phony-election year promises of buying gas at $2.50 gallon. Santorum, as Rush and Levin has said, is the last true standing conservative and most important, he is electable. In the recent Gallup he trails Obama by 8 points and all this, including the trifecta win, on a shoe-string budget. At this point its time to wake up and smell the coffee. its a two man race: Santorum and Romney.
If thats the deal, we are screwed.
I don't listen to Levin but Rush never said that. If anyone thinks Santorum is a conservative in the smaller government sense, they are full of crap.
Well, I guess the Establishment GOP and Romney’s millions of negative ads had nothing to do with Florida. If it is a “permanent deficit” it is a contrived one. A contrived one that Santorum will also have to deal with.
And Rush says he wasn't backing a certain candidate ha. No wonder many conservatives are disappointed, very confused and about to leave the primary process when they see persons we admire continue to throw out so much bull-crap for us to deal with. Who are they trying to convince. Rick is another Washington insider; big program spender. Like I said, Rush is saving his family values base (nothing more). He already said he would accept Romney, the socialized heath care liberal. yes, it's confusing though understandable why people cannot unite towards one conservative candidate. Some of the Rushbots do what he says to do; the independent thinkers are seeing it through reality and don't want to be forced with Mitt or Rick.
Rush has lost touch and should retire soon. He doesn’t fight for conservatives anymore. His business is in perpetuating the problem so he can complain about it.
As for Saint Rick, he has no platform, and he is a hypocrite who doesn’t stand for what he claims to stand for. He’s an opportunist trying to get elected, that’s all. It’s for that reason that his platform is so tepid to begin with. His primary issue is himself. We need a candidate whose issue will be radically reforming this government.
