His family was Catholic and went to lds when he was a kid. As an young adult he returned to Catholicism, now attends a Baptist Church, which he and his family have been attending for years.. I am not sure why that is an issue.

Catholic. He sounds like a just another big time hypocrite to me. Catholics DO NOT GO TO OTHER CHURCHES FOR WORSHIP unless they are fallen away Catholics and care nothing at all about their faith. This is obviously the case with Rubio.
