One thing has become apparent. It’s easy to stay above the fray when you don’t have a big bullseye on your back. At this point Newt isn’t leading the pack and therefore Flip and his hounds and his media enablers aren’t focused on tearing him apart. Romeny has no conservative creds, so the only way he can campaign is through constant carpet bombing of whatever conservative has managed to gain traction.

Romney is the poison that has resulted in all the carnage in this year’s pubbie primary season beginning with Perry. He is an absolutely loathsome individual.

I couldn’t agree more.

He is loathsome.

He fights dirty and he's a liar.

Plus, any man who could put the family dog of the roof for a 12 hour drive is despicable (if not a psychopath). Either put the dog in the car and put the luggage on the luggage rack or leave the dog at at the vets.

Romney is the poison that has resulted in all the carnage in this year’s pubbie primary season ...

I am not so sure Romney is behind it.

Look at the pattern. First a candidate rises from low single digits to the lead. Then, the flurry of destructive attack begin, pretty much destroying the candidate, and driving him back into low double digits or lower.

Could Romney be behind the attacks? Certainly. But, I can't attribute the initial upsurge to him. More likely it is the Obama machine and the compliant propaganda machine of the MSM. They have the power to surge the candidate to the forefront. Romney does not. They would be doing this to stir up discontent and confusion among the Republicans and to make the GOP look bad.

Sadly, all the bickering among Romney, Santorum, and Paul plays into this strategy. Only Newt has focused on Obama's failed policies and detailed solutions.

Romney is up to fifty nine million in negative ads...Should make a good ad. He spends and spends and spends and spends and all he has to show for it is a pile of dog poo.

YOU are absolutely right, as I believe they all expect a Newt rise again, which requires “Round III” salvo’s to be saved for Newt’s third moment.

My concern is that if “we” can’t make Newt more of a movement candidate, I don’t see how the $millions of media, Establishment and Marxist powers and money and virtual blackout can be offset, overcome? Newt has what, one big backer, who has left some huge gaps in Newt’s campaign, particularly Florida, where Newt is permitted to twist in the wind, under virulant attack, left a half million dollars in debt, subjected to smears, dwarfed by cash, and silenced, before our friend coughs up another ten.

Gasp, cough, donate, interview, gasp, cough, another interview, brag on $100 million available, interview, interview, gasp...............
