This has been going on forever. The only time Paul says anything negative about Romney is when he lumps all of them together. He's beat up on everyone, but never Romney. I suspect Paul thinks he'll have the critical delegate block at the end, and so Romney will be the guy on the other side of the table bidding for his block. So he doesn't want to offend his future buyer. Also Paul remarked last night that the morning after pill is not an abortifacient. Not quite accurate. It seems Paul also claims he is pure as the driven snow on spending, but from what I gather he earmarks, votes against, then runs around the other side of the pork conveyor to pick up his pork that he counts on because he knows others will vote for it. There's a principled libertarian!

I don’t like earmarks but I know they’re a product of a overgrown government and virtually anyone who has been in congress for more than 10 minutes has used them to some extent.
That said, Ron Paul has asked for a LOT of earmarks.
