No it’s not a good question. Destroying traditional marriage along with the basic tenants of Christianity has nothing to do with being left alone.
I would very much disagree with that statement.
Having unelected Judges and tiny minorities of the population tell the vast majority how our society is going to be structured at the most basic levels is very much interfering in our day to day lives.
It is also a religious liberty question. Every religion that I know of has as a basic tenant of that religion that marriage is the union of a man and a woman (or women in some cases).
Anytime that gay marriage has been put to a referendum in any state traditional marriage has won handily.
