Newt's talking about himself?
Ha-ha, very funny (not).
Thanks for bumping my thread.
See you later. It’s way past my bed time.
Such a great speaker and the only one that can give Obama a run for his money! I am #withNewt!
great thread ... keep up the good work ...
BTTT
Did not mean to double post. Said I had a proxy error.
Excellent. It is what the candidates SHOULD be doing instead of devouring one another.

SPEAKER NEWT GINGRICH 2012 PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE A BOLD LEADER
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8W7sypJZ_Bg&feature=related
Newt Gingrich started his campaign by speaking about bold, positive ideas to solve the problems facing our country. Unfortunately, Governor Romney decided from the beginning of his campaign he was going to tear down any conservative candidate, which stood up in opposition to him.
Agreed.
Romney’s fingerprints are all over the attacks on Sarah Palin, Bachmann, Perry, Cain, Newt, and NOW Rick Santorum. It is very telling that the attacks are always against whoever is closest to Romney in the polls, on the eve of a caucus or a Primary, and nearly always of a salacious nature.
As soon as the perceived threat is eliminated, the accusations seem to fade into obscurity.
It’s pretty transparent. Thoughtful Republicans and Conservatives are starting to hate Romney nearly as much as they hate Obama.
“Its pretty transparent. Thoughtful Republicans and Conservatives are starting to hate Romney nearly as much as they hate Obama.”
I wouldn’t go THAT far...! But I HAVE grown to dislike him enough that I will not vote for him.
Ah...I know what you mean. “Hate” is a very strong word, and really not my nature.
I should have said “Dislike”. More in line with my own Christian principles.
“Thoughtful Republicans and Conservatives are starting to hate Romney nearly as much as they hate Obama.”
We have to understand Romney’s psyche mind. He’s running from president since he was elected governor of Massachusetts. The ONLY reason he wanted to be governor, was to use it as a catapult for building up a political career, in order to reach the White House. He sold his soul to Ted Kenedy and his payback was “Romneycare”, the template for Obamacare.
In the summer of 2003, barely six months into Romneys governorship, Robert White, his confidant, had huddled in Washington with political strategists Michael Murphy and Trent Wisecup and a top GOP lawyer, Benjamin Ginsberg, to ponder Romneys next move. At Ginsbergs law office near Georgetown, and later over steak in a private room at Mortons, the seeds for Romneys presidential campaign were planted. (Brian C. Mooney, Stephanie Ebbert and Scott Helman, Ambitions Grow And The Stances Shift, The Boston Globe, 6/30/07)
“After his failure to elect more Republican legislators in the 2004 campaign, Mitt Romney met with the Globe’s editorial board and made a surprising declaration: No longer could he put so much time into promoting his party. ‘From now on, it’s me-me-me,’ he said.” (Brian C. Mooney, Stephanie Ebbert and Scott Helman, “Ambitions Grow And the Stances Shift,” The Boston Globe, 6/30/07)
So this guy put in dozens of millions dollars from his own pocket (estimated at $40 million) in 2008, and ... lost to McCain.
Romney has continued to run for presiden ever since and was determined “to kill” any other candidate who took the lead in the race. After his defeat in South Carolina, his campaign chief of staff declared, before Florida primary: “It’s not about winning anymore, but about DESTROYING GINGRICH”. And that’s what they did in Florida with over 13,000 nasty, untruthful, pejorative ads.
