Gingrich is not acting like he’s worried he will lose Georgia. Newt is campaigning in other states.

I predicted by Super Tuesday, he will win Georgia by a comfortable margin.

Maybe it is because Newt realizes he has no path to the nomination by winning only the states which Barry Goldwater carried in 1964 (minus Arizona). He has to pick up something outside this region to prove he is still viable.

If he doesn't win Georgia, then he's burnt toast. If he doesn't win something outside the Goldwater five in the southeast, then the best he can hope to do is ride into the convention as a delegate broker between Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum.
