Secretary of Education would be a perfect fit for Newt. I know he is, by far, the most popular presidential candidates among hard core Freepers but we represent, what, maybe 15% of the electorate, tops?

My wife (and many in her circle) are about as hard core conservative as you can get and they are not able to overlook Newt's serial adultery. Pennsylvania will be a two man race between Santorum and Romney . . . if Mitt hasn't packed it in by April 24th.

The near unanimous view of conservatives up here is that Rick Santorum has learned a lot from being out of office for six years and he is not only our best bet for putting Pennsylvania into play, but for beating Obama which is job #1.

No matter how you slice it, the vast majority of the Newt voters will not vote for Mitt under any circumstances and vice versa. We're going to need most of all three groups to put together 270+ electoral votes.
