It’s pretty simple really. I assume you’ve heard of bundlers? Well the basic idea is that you show up for a dinner thats $30k a plate, then that amount is divided up to max out your donation to the Obama Campaign, DNC, DSCC, DCCC or whatever organization they’re bundling for that night. It’s a pretty standard campaign fundraising tactic used by both sides.
Wrong. Monetary contributions are free speech - Constitutionally protected. The correct prescription to corruption is no limits, no currency and total disclosure.
And they're bribes too. What do you think of bribery?
You still get the "free speech" because under my system you can donate $10 million (or more) if you want. It's just that the guy you give it to cannot know for sure if you really did.

The only thing these "campaign finance laws" have done is muddy the waters.
It is purposeful. It is anti-American and it is contrary to every reason this country was founded.
This whole class-envy and anti-corporate attitude in this country has been spawned by the fact that the federal government has ASSUMED too much power and nobody has said "NO".
It is time that we the people say "No" and enforce it with torches and pitchforks if necessary.
In case you didn't notice I wasn't arguing in favor of any existing campaign finance law.
And I'm just wondering: do you consider bribery a form of free speech too? You should go to Hyde Park in London on a Sunday if you want to get a real idea of what inspired the idea of free speech here in America.
