Maybe you need to check the story a little more closely. This was not a campaign speech. This was a speech at a private Catholic university back in '08--four years ago, this August.

What Santorum has stated cannot be denied.
Just look around you at all the crumbling institutions: churches, schools, civic groups, the military, the press, and most of all, the family.
We are under siege. Prayer is good, but actions speak louder than words.

What are you gonna do when all you have to choose from is a 76 y.o. Kook-Daddy and Three Stooges? What the hell you gonna do? Apparently you’re a teen (from your screen name). Your convictions, and Santorum’s are commendable. But, I’m quite a bit older than you and I’ve worked on numerous political campaigns and I’ve never seen a candidate win running on “radical social issues”. He will lose in a landslide and cause us to lose the House and even more seats in the Senate.
