Two Things:
1. Why not name his beliefs aloud? Are they evil? Is Christianity not the majority religion in this country?
2. Why would Gingrich go to a CATHOLIC SETTING (and I think this was a few years ago) and be coy and superficial about his beliefs?
Explain those two above to me and then explain why silence isn’t fear or cowardice?
1. Because, believe it or not even in this Christian nation, saying the America is under attack by Satan is considered by many a bit odd, and honestly, fringe.
2. Santorum went to a Catholic setting and gave his thoughts. I don’t recall Gingrich ever doing that, nor speaking of “Satan.” He may be in fact, one of those many Catholics who is more “Jesus is Love” and unconcerned about “The Devil is Bad”
Listen, I don’t care one way or the other in a theological sense since I’m not Christian and don’t believe in “Satan”. Politically, however, the last thing we need is a Huckabee type talking about Satan and the evils of birth control. We need someone talking about jobs and smaller government.
