Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich will hold town hall-style forums in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene on Thursday, Republican party officials confirmed.

His Spokane event is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Bing Theater in downtown Spokane. The venues and times for Idaho events are still being determined, but Gingrich is expected to be in Coeur d’Alene Thursday around 7 p.m. and at a private fundraiser at a Harrison home on Thursday around 4 p.m., Idaho GOP executive director Jonathan Parker said.

Gingrich's 7:00 p.m. appearance in Coeur d'Alene will be held at the Coeur d'Alene Inn at 506 at West Appleway Avenue, sources tell KHQ-TV.
