Your focusing on the wrong subjects with Newt. Examine his record and you will find, without exception, his legislation proposed by him has always benefited the country and by it, you. What makes you uneasy, he sits on a couch with Pelosi. So What. His comments that are being focused on such as right wing extremist and global warming have quite a bit of truth to them if you pay attention to what he says. If Sheldon Adelman is willing to give him $100M, why should we be concerned about Newt. He is the only sensible conservative in the race.

You give to much credit to someone with money. Because Mr. Adelman has a lot of money, I should credit him with being wiser than me? Mr. Adelman is clearly better at running casinos than I am. Michael Moore has more money than me, and he’s an idiot.
It’s more than the couch incident. It’s Gingrich’s ability to just come out of left field... calling Ryan’s budget proposal right wing social engineering. Or his flirtations with amnesty.
Having said that, I still think Gingrich is the best available choice.
