I’d say from the Israeli perspective...which should be the
perspective of the west realistically, there are no “diplomatic” scenarios. Diplomacy to Iran is merely
a tactic to delay any military action. They have no intentions of stopping their program or giving up the quest
for canned sunshine. Diplomatic conversations with Iran
should only be undertaken by the west as a part of and
cover for other actions. You don’t argue with a rabid dog.
You might try to distract it while you grab your gun but the
ultimate goal is the elimination of the rabid dog.
You are right. Diplomacy was over years ago. They are just waiting for the right time. There are “windows’ in which the Israelis are going to strike. you have to take in weather and other factors. Have they chosen a particular time to commence in operations I think so.
