It is what it is. That's profound, I know. And where is dad in all this mess?
I've met some kids, disoriented teens mostly, who like black tshirts and have a penchant for cutting themselves, who are resentful that their parents are still married because that puts them in the oddball category at school. They just want to fit in. We cannot imagine the implications of this 'generational change'.
One thing this means is that the majority of children being born will know no way of life other than depending on the government. They will have no idea of family loyalty; instead their allegiance will be to the state-hand that feeds them. I hope our hatches are well battened because it is going to get really ugly.
