I don't think that is true, (or why would they insist that Mickey Mouse and Hitler remain as valid signatures?) put up some stats if you are confident of your statement.

They really don't have a prayer of invalidating enough signatures to prevent a recall.

Those signatures migt be legitimate:
Mickey Mouse would be in favor of the recall because he is Mickey Mouse
and Adolf Hitler would favor the recall because he is Adolf Hitler.
