Paul Babeu’s Mexican Ex-Lover Says Sheriff’s Attorney Threatened Him With Deportation
There is nothing festive about buggery.

Earlier thread. He denies the deporation threat but admits he is gay. Any AZ freepers care to comment so we know what is going on here?
This is terrible.

Sounds as if he no longer enjoys the big beefy burrito!
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I have the feeling that the Republican establishment is riddled with people like this.
The saddest part of this is the fact that he’s been a strong border control advocate.
Why did the guy resign. Romney celebrates homosexual marriage and homosexuals in the military, so why would he care if one is in his campaign?
Is this Babeu fellow the one who probably could have put a stop to Jared Laughner before he (Laughner) shot Gabrielle Giffords?
The bottom line here is that Babeu is a good sheriff, and a tough one. He admitted today, through a spokesman, that he is a homosexual, and he had a relationship with this Mexican man that went sour.
The Mexican man worked and was paid *just* for his work on Babeu’s political campaign, so no real corruption is involved. However, he is enraged at Babeu, so not only hacked his website, to put disparaging comments on it, but says that Babeu threatened to have him deported if he went public.
This is unlikely, because it is believed that the man is a US citizen.
Importantly, Babeu was, or maybe still is, running for congress from Arizona.
Also in his favor, is that his county is a major route for armed drug smugglers who have been shooting at the Indians that live there. Babeu had enough of that so has armed his deputies with weaponry to take out such dangerous thugs, which is not easy, as his county is just slightly smaller than the state of Connecticut.
BTW, has Lindsey Graham endorsed anyone yet?
