Paul Babeu, an up-and-coming member of the Republican Party, stepped down from his role as a co-chairman of Mitt Romneys Arizona campaign on Saturday, in the wake of allegations that he threatened to deport a Mexican ex-boyfriend when the man refused to keep quiet about their years-long relationship.

The illegal Mexican got mad at Romney’s guy for cheating on him. The details of the homo-relationship-gone-bad are really sick.
Jose’s suspicions that Babeu was cheating heightened when the newly elected sheriff asked him to make changes to a campaign website to prevent e-mails sent there from going to his political staff.
His suspicions were confirmed, he says, when he discovered that an enraged spurned lover of the sheriff’s was sending e-mails through the site.
Why did the guy resign. Romney celebrates homosexual marriage and homosexuals in the military, so why would he care if one is in his campaign?
Is this Babeu fellow the one who probably could have put a stop to Jared Laughner before he (Laughner) shot Gabrielle Giffords?
The bottom line here is that Babeu is a good sheriff, and a tough one. He admitted today, through a spokesman, that he is a homosexual, and he had a relationship with this Mexican man that went sour.
The Mexican man worked and was paid *just* for his work on Babeu’s political campaign, so no real corruption is involved. However, he is enraged at Babeu, so not only hacked his website, to put disparaging comments on it, but says that Babeu threatened to have him deported if he went public.
This is unlikely, because it is believed that the man is a US citizen.
Importantly, Babeu was, or maybe still is, running for congress from Arizona.
Also in his favor, is that his county is a major route for armed drug smugglers who have been shooting at the Indians that live there. Babeu had enough of that so has armed his deputies with weaponry to take out such dangerous thugs, which is not easy, as his county is just slightly smaller than the state of Connecticut.
Not just the military, he thinks the Boy Scouts should let them be the Adult leaders too.

Babeu still is, running for congress from Arizona.
Or the Navy... LOL.
And the RINOS want to know why we detest everything they say and do?
From seeing him on TV I always thought Babeu was a good guy and not the kind to get mixed up with the Romneyites.
Oh yeah he didn't seem like a poofter either... at least not from what we see on TV...
I always liked the guy on border issues. I am sad to hear this, but now I know why he supported Romney.
BTW, has Lindsey Graham endorsed anyone yet?
Once again, what would have been a resume’ enhancer for a Democrat (like having gays on staff) becomes a fatal flaw for a Republican. The Srive-By media will exercise its double standard and make this a big deal, I’m sure.
I am disappointed. I thought he was one of the good guys.
Oh well, everyone join in for a rousing chorus... {sounds key}
“It’s fun to live at the YMCA, the YMCA”
What a freaking depressing election cycle this has been.

I live in Pinal County and Babeu is my sheriff. I really liked him, but if this is true, I will be disappointed and ANGRY. He seriously thought he could run for congress with secrets like these in his life? WTF??!!?
However, it should be noted that one of the main people behind this story is Babeu’s sister, Lucy, who spends an inordinate amount of time on the Internet bashing her brothers Paul and Shaun, as well as her father. There are 11 kids in the family, and many of them claimed they were sexually abused by their parish priest in Massachusetts. Some or all of them even received a settlement, including Paul, even tho his story isn’t consistent. He later worked as a counselor/administrator at a residential treatment center for troubled youth run by Mike DeSisto who apparently was molesting and mistreating the kids.
All in all, a lot of red flags which should have caused some concern, but he moved across the country a decade ago and people just looked the other way. It was bound to come out sooner or later, which is what angers me. Now everything good he has done about the illegals in Pinal county will slowly dissipate.

Figures that Romney’s campaign would be powered by homosexuality.
