I could be wrong (it wouldn’t be the first or last time) but not all super-pac ads are hit pieces, are they?

Money that hasn’t even been spent and you want to create a lie about it?

You need to provide proof. Romney went negative first in Iowa, after Newt posted 45% in the polls on a totally positive message - even in the debates, where he consistently said nice things about his opponents, and reminded everyone Obama was the enemy.

Newt stayed positive through 3 weeks of willard’s negative ads in Iowa, despite his staff’s demands that he answer willard’s lies. Newt wanted, and tried, to campaign on positive ideas... When he finally lost 20 some points, due to lies and fabrications, he started to fight back. Only then.

You have posted something that is very untruthful.

that's what we need, bodies on the floor...

(excerpt)“I’m not sure [Gingrich] ever had a lot of friends here, and I’m not sure he cared, because he came here to accomplish a purpose, not to make buddies,” said Ken Kies, an influential tax lobbyist and a Gingrich donor. “Newt led a revolution, so that tends to leave bodies on the floor.”

“In 1994, there was only one person who consistently believed Republicans could weather the storms and capture control of the Congress for the first time in four decades; in 2012, he is a candidate for President.”

No, Romney has earned the reputation as the dirtiest Republican campaigner on record, as one who is salting the earth, seeking to destroy Gingrich so thoroughly that he can’t win, even if he took the nomination. It was so bad that even Romney was hurt.
