Herman Cain rallies Georgia crowd for Newt Gingrich

CUMMING, Ga.— Herman Cain may no longer be seeking the GOP presidential nomination, but he still has plenty of fans in Georgia.

The erstwhile presidential candidate received a standing ovation at South Forsyth High School, where he introduced former House speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) at a county precinct meeting.

“You know, I knew I had some friends in Forsyth County,” Cain said, as the crowd cheered. “But we’re here because we believe Newt Gingrich should be the next president of the United States in America.”

“And contrary to what the mainstream, lame-stream, lapdog media want you to believe, he can pull it out,” he told them.

The former Godfather’s Pizza chief executive identified three reasons why his former competitor deserves to be president: jobs, energy and bold ideas.

Herman should have stayed in. He'd be in Rick's shoes today, imho.

Cancelling the CNN debate was pretty bad move. But having a liberal moderator was bad too.

Is that the debate that was scheduled for Feb. 22nd. I had not heard it was canceled, or why.
