CUMMING, Ga. Herman Cain may no longer be seeking the GOP presidential nomination, but he still has plenty of fans in Georgia.
The erstwhile presidential candidate received a standing ovation at South Forsyth High School, where he introduced former House speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) at a county precinct meeting.
You know, I knew I had some friends in Forsyth County, Cain said, as the crowd cheered. But were here because we believe Newt Gingrich should be the next president of the United States in America.
And contrary to what the mainstream, lame-stream, lapdog media want you to believe, he can pull it out, he told them.
The former Godfathers Pizza chief executive identified three reasons why his former competitor deserves to be president: jobs, energy and bold ideas.
Referring to the economic plans of Gingrichs GOP opponents, Cain said, their proposals continue to rearrange the deck chairs on the Titanic, adding that they replace old loopholes with new ones.

Oh, my bad. I mistakenly assumed you to be one who would argue above the level of Spongebob Squarepants.
"Preoccupied"? "Obsessing"? Well, at least we know you don't have a double standard and would never allow President Clinton's moral character to color your assessment of his "leadership abilities."
At any rate, when you called them "good men," it struck me as ridiculous. It still does. Obviously, my measure is quite different from yours. And yes, I do hold myself to the same standard.
Well before the Iowa Caucus, my first campaign contribution of the cycle went to Mr. Cain. Needless to say, I'm disappointed. But, apparently that's because I'm "preoccupied with" or "obsessing" about the content of his character.
My household supported Cain, too, and while I did hear women who had worked with him come to his defense, I never saw or heard anything concrete that verified that his accusers were telling the truth. I really believe this was the product of the Romney Smear Machine.
Cain dropped out because his wife has a very serious heart condition (pacemaker, stints, etc) and some of his supporters that know him personally said that the potential impact on her health was why he didn’t fight on.
You’ll note that after he dropped out, all the accusers evaporated. I’m not convinced he deserved the treatment he got, but you know what happens to anyone who is a threat to Romney.
Bill Clinton is a whole other story. He was a leader, a hedonistic pied piper, the lowest pond scum. How he got so many people to support him can only be attributed to political skills, certainly not character. I lived for the first 35 years of my life in his home state and never voted for him for governor or President.
I’m sorry if I misunderstood where you were coming from. No offense intended.
