You are absolutely correct.

What the RINO-compromisers fail to understand is that a hypothetical 'President Romney' would actually put America on a faster track to big government statism and socialism than 0bama is, because Romney has that convenient (R) after this name, which would give him cover in the same way that a 'President McCain' (gag, choke, puke) would have had.

As I've said many times, 0bama is pouring socialism down America's throat straight from the bottle, Romney will pour it down our throats via exquisite crystal goblets, the end result is the same.

There IS no 'two party system' in this Nation anymore, what we have is ONE party, the 'Rat-Rino Consolidated Statist Party, with two mirage-like 'wings', one far left, and one a little less 'left'. Both 'wings' are dedicated to expanding the reach and power of the federal behemoth, ultimately eliminating our freedoms and liberties under the guise of 'peace. safety and economic security', and establishing a two class social system, i.e., the 'ruled' (that's us) and the 'RULERS' (that's THEM)

And as for me? I say in no uncertain terms:
