Secret? It's not a secret.

Romney is not now nor ever has been a conservative.

He is a supporter of abortion, homosexual agenda, government mandated health care, gun grabs.........not conservative.

Romney voted for Tsangas (sp). He is a democrat through and through based on his governance and statements.

He was distancing himself from Reagan and Bush in the expectation that it would make him more palatable to Massachusetts voters.

Not very decent behavior, I agree, and not what one wants from a Republican presidential candidate. So don't vote for him for that reason, or for another.

But you don't have to convince yourself that he actively hated Reagan or Bush or Republicans or conservatives. Go down that road and you start getting crazy.

He was a businessman and father (and Mormon Bishop or whatever-it-is) in those Reagan-Bush years, concentrating on making money and raising a family, not rubbing his hands together dreaming of the day he would wreak vengeance on the GOP.
