People need to know that the real danger is not losing our “right” to abortion or gay marriage or a free meal, it’s not global warming or corporate profits, it’s a government with too much power.

“We have to look at the root cause of why the economy is struggling as much as it is,” Santorum said. “Government intervention. Government regulation. Government taxation. Government is crushing and destroying the American spirit and the American free enterprise system.”

Yadda-yadda-yadda

In his career in Washington DC, the pro-big spending Santorum, as Congressman, sponsored or co-sponsored 50 spending bills, for a total of $53 billion increase of government spending.

Not to mention the $3.5 billion of earmarks he included in the budget over the years ...

Facts speak louder than words. Words are cheap.

What about the freedom not to be forced to belong to a union and pay dues to in order to work that this CHUMP lawyer voted against?

This SOB is just below the Bishop from Planet Kolob on the BS meter

Saint Rick should stick to this theme and be more aggressive; I still though think our little Republican primary voters will prefer Romney. Hope I am wrong

Rick is probably much better than Myth. However, I am not convinced he is a strong fiscal conservative. I also think he is a big government type. He will preserve the status quo in Washington. That I think is why those who depend on the gravy train are not so much against him. He is probably not going to do anything drastic to rock the boat.

Newt on the other hand, could possibly do something large, as he has big ideas. Or as Rick said, Newt has grandiose ideas. I think this is a time for grandiose ideas, to change the course of the country from the brink of fiscal ruin and mediocrity. It is not the time for timidity, business as usual, "protect the gravy train of the elite" and the unions. It is not the time to slow the decline, but to reverse the course.

We now have a government with more power because of the rise of electronic information technology. The power of the microchip has become their weapon against us.

Hey! What a small world! I like freedom too!

Now what is Rick Santorum going to DO, exactly? Not a hint of an answer in that article, and likely because Santorum is short on protein, long on carbs in his speeches.

THIS IS WHAT IT’S GOING TO TAKE! The TRUTH spoken plainly.

Not Obomney’s mealy-mouthed (McCain-esque) “Obama’s a good guy” crap.

Looks like, again, that the Copycat Santorum has stolen another concept, almost word for word, what Newt Gingrich has been saying for decades.

Only difference is, Newt has an actual plan as well as solutions already in place to get the job done. All the Reverend Rick has, are generalizations, that somebody else has already covered.

But the thoughtless Lemmings here who support him, will give him all the credit for it, as having been the one who invented the idea in the first place.

Is he going to go after Homeland inSecurity to only focus on Islamic terrorists and stop sexually molesting us at the airports, spying on us and harassing us? Will he undo the American KGB, Bush, Obama and the Congress has built?

One thing everyone should know about Rick. Conservatives beat him for joining the Rinos in support of Alan Spector. He has expressed resentment towards these “extremists.” That would be most of us. He’s into “social justice.” That includes croney capitalism.

"When the government gets as big as it’s gotten and starts to take over more of your life, then you get smaller as the individual, you get weaker, you lose control over your lives. You lose the rights that were guaranteed you. That is what’s at stake here.”

NO KIDDING, dipsh*t! We knew that when you were campaigning for big gov't Mitt in '08. That's all you can do - is SAY what we already know. We are supporting NEWT who already has the solutions - he's light years ahead of you! Rick, you have no solutions - just talking 'fear' to get a vote. LAME! PATHETIC!
