My step-father was a fireman with the Mountain View, CA fire dept. in the seventies. While doing an inspection at a local Chinese restaurant, they came across several hundred dressed carcasses that they suspected were cats. Upon further investigation, it was found that they were for some special Chinese celebration. All the paper work was in order and all were USDA inspected and stamped ‘Choice’.

I always wondered where the ranch, feed-lot, etc. for cat was located. And how do you become a catboy?

Not to mention the old chestnut about herding cats...

"we have very good hot dog!"

Cho is a favorite of all true chow hounds. It does sound more appetizing than the roasted frog.

How did they ever get USDA inspected and approved cats? Or were they something that looks superficially similar as a carcass, like rabbits?
