When my top of the line Roomba broke I bought a cheap one and it does just as good a job. Never could get the dock to work, anyway. I can still get the old one fixed, just keep forgetting.

Crud capacity was the same for both and when it picks up a lot of hair I clean the brush after each use.

I read quite a few of the reviews, and it seems that cleaning after each use is crucial. That’s not a problem for me at all.

One of the reviewers suggested getting a seam ripper from a fabric/sewing store to make cleaning easier, which seemed like a good idea to me.
