Romney never had a high level of support. All along, his only hope was to split the conservative vote so that he would get a plurality.

Mitts only support was the party establishment aka the libs of the party. 75% conservative, 25% liberal.

If Santorum wins the nomination it will be interesting to see the 25% reaction. From the 1930’s on we conservatives were expected to rally behind the parties candidate and do our duty which we pretty much have done up until 2008. Out of all those years getting only Goldwater and Reagan as conservative candidates.

If Santorum wins the nomination I expect we lose half of the 25% to obama, as they have shown they are typical of most liberals, when they lose they take their marbles and go home mad.

The 2010 congressional elections if anything showed us what to expect from the establishment cry babies when they don’t get their way, they cut and run or out right trash the conservative nominee. If indeed this happens and Santorum pulls wins the White House I hope he sends the establishment pri*%s packing and hires not one of them.
