This whole thing is wrong on so many levels. Government, federal especially, has no business telling me what I must buy or sell. I will concede the right of forcing my business to use standard weights and measures, but not much more.

Then here comes the 1st Amendment issue, while we are still trying to digest the entirety of the overstepping Unaffordable Care Act.

It’s like a Blitzkrieg. Which front do we fight on? Catholics have one take, Women have another, Libertarians have another- it seems an exercise in splintering and overrunning any of us who might stand in opposition.

What they miss in their assessment is the unifying effect it can actually have on disparate groups.

Politics makes for strange bedfellows.

I agree with you completely on all points. We can't win unless we're unified and on message and we need to cut to the bottom line on these things. Being distracted with subset issues when our own little ox is gored is going to end up with all of our oxes gutted and quartered.

Now, how do we get conservatives unified and on message? I wish I knew.
