When the two groups were merged to form Womens Air Force Service Pilots (WASP) in August 1943, their duties increased beyond ferrying to towing targets for aerial gunnery practice, simulating strafing, instructing male pilots and running check flights for repaired aircrafts.

None of this is to suggest a lack of respect for women. Men and women are just different. I feel sorry for those women who have been indoctrinated to have so little respect in themselves as women that they feel compelled to compete with men in masculine pursuits. The greatest form of misogyny is feminism.
