Had he endorsed Newt, regardless of the reason, you would be hailing this as a sure sign of Newt's ability to appeal to a broad and diverse demographic spectrum.
No I would not - because unlike you I am a person of ideas and not a person of cultishness. Unlike you, I readily admit the flaws and foibles of my preferred candidate while laying out a very articulate case for supporting him nonetheless.
Now after reading the shallowness of this guys reasoning, I would have stayed the hell away from it. I have stayed away from a recent high profile Newt endorsement for just this reason - that the substance of the endorsement was laughable.
The substance of this is laughable. It is sad and pathetic.
I'm kinda looking forward to the whole 'Gandalf look'. I probably still have around 15-20 years, depending on my stressful assed job, and how many liberal politicians rule over us. Also have some daughters that are quickly making their way into and through their teen age years(damn how time flies). lol
