To be honest, the only bologna I ate when I was a kid was from beef.
Neither of my parents ate much pork; bacon occasionally, liverwurst, but only because my mom liked it too; my dad hated it. Pork chops; never. Hot dogs; beef hot dogs. My mom was Lutheran (Swedish) and my dad a former Catholic.
Even today, I don’t each much pork. Just as liverwurst or bacon. I prefer kosher hot dogs.
I do recall though a Jewish kid I grew up with, and that was where I first learned about Kosher (and halal); he told me “Jewish people and Muslim people don’t eat pork, because it’s unclean” and I didn’t know he (being Jewish) couldn’t eat cheeseburgers; fortunately, my dad knew when he came over one for a backyard BBQ. Saved me some embarrassment.
It just occurred to me; think the DofA will be regulating backyard BBQ’s next?!
Eat your peas. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
YIKES....no more BBQ Ribs.
Actually, the EPA's already been trying to regulate backyard grills and lawnmowers on "air pollution" grounds.
