Actually, I hate to burst your bubble, but you’re wrong (you have UNDERestimated our nanny state). The schools in many places already have to offer school lunch (lunch and dinner I have heard, but not yet breakfast) during the summer and I just heard a month or two ago about a program which was in pilot to pack bags of food for children to take home over the weekend!
But, you are absolutely right in your post (setting aside the ridiculous programs you may not have been aware of yet). The goal is ALWAYS money and by virtue of money, dependency and control. Food affects kids behavior more than anything else, I dare say, including discipline. When the body is unsound, the mind is unsound. If your body is out of whack, your mind is out of whack and discipling unfocused druged up, sugared up kids is next to impossible.
The endgame is total control. Government teaching kids early to be unable to make choices, and removing dietary option except for nasty food (much of it engineered to be addictive), most of it devoid of nutrition, so that they can control the masses. The fringe benefit is to teach kids their parents are too stupid to mind what they do and don’t eat, teaching them to be good little George Soros-type “Hitler Youth”. They started it with the global warming garbage, it’s now moving to the food stage. Watch for child abuse charges to come.

Here’s a better idea: These fascist pigs have names and live in your neighborhoods. Take over your local and county government, elect a constitutional sheriff and drive them out of your community. If you don’t know how, study the founding of America. Here’s some hints: committees of safety; broadsheets; liberty trees; tar and feathers.
Apply these remedies as necessary.
Take your child out of the public school system...home school them or send them to a religious affiliated school, checking beforehand to make sure that the school meets your standards. Let NO government tell you as parents what you can and cannot do with your children. This is so reminiscent of Hitler and Germany....stop this insanity NOW, everyone, or we as a country will wind up like so many of Hitler's victims. We must not forget Stalin or Mao...they were killers all.
