Must be some fool out of Chapel Hill, locally referred to as "Berkely East".
When my kid started school this year, the only "nutritional direction" I received from the teacher was if I came to eat lunch at school with them, to not bring "McDonalds", or some such.
Not because of any "nutrition requirements", but because the other 19 kids in the class would all want McDonald's too. Which is fine by me. My kids eat fast food so rarely that I can't remember the last time we went.
I think that a situation like this would only occur once. Then I'd be shopping for a new school. Or the state would be shopping for a new "Nutrition Counselor". Either would be fine by me, as well. :-)
And I thought I had challenges raising a family back in the 70’s. I sure don’t envy you folks doing it today. I had plenty of set-to’s with educrats back then but threats of bodily harm weren’t reacted to as they are today.
I’m starting to really hate what this country has become.
