Earth to Sean: The Falklands were uninhabited when the Europeans arrived. Nobody was colonized. The French were first and Malvinas is a translation of the French name for the islands. The Spanish came for a short time, but also left.

To further expand on your point, the anti-colonial movement was built a on rational of self determination. Handing the islands over to Chile would violate the inhabitants expressed wishes.

In the uncorrupted/original meaning of liberalism, Penn views are (ironically enough) extremely ill liberal.

Once again, the left demonstrates by it's actions that it is little more than pompous reactionary anti-Westernsim.
