Hmmm. St. Kitts and Nevis has an “economic citizenship” program. Buy a minimum of $250K worth of property and you can get a passport and shelter assets there. Does the Justice have a Plan B?
Hmmmm ... intresting.
intresting = interesting .. ooops
“Buy a minimum of $250K worth of property and you can get a passport and shelter assets there. “
partly true.
No one from America can shelter assets. All worldwide income of a US citizen is subject to US taxation - to hide it is an offense that can lead to imprisonment. Citizenship in SKN doesn’t allow any American to shelter assets. It would provide citizenship in a country, allowing you to relinquish your US citizenship. THEN, you would no longer be subject to our confiscatory tax code.
You can invest in a piece of qualifying real estate worth at least $450k, pay the additional gov’t fees and attorney’s fees and if they accept you, you will become a citizen.
Great deal, but not cheap.
