It’s really hard for me to get my head around people buying into these random theories. It can’t be that their guy isn’t doing well because...well, people just don’t think he’s the best person for the job. Or, that another guy with no money can succeed on grit, hard work and a better message.

Nothing random about it. They've gone right down the line accusing every candidate but Green Gingrich of working for Romney and now that Gingrich has collapsed, they're trying to destroy Romney's only legitimate challenger based on rumors. This one is the best yet because it includes this bizarre polling conspiracy that hides the fact that Gingrich has passed up everyone.

This same narrative was used against just about all of the other candidates at one time or the other when they surged - accusations they were acting as tools of ‘the establishment’ to help Romney. Bachmann, Cain, etc. All of them. They think we don’t remember.
