Not only that, but the numbers just cannot add up for Santorum. He had almost no money, organization OR popularity until the Primaries already started.
It's beyond too late to gather all of that together, this late in the election. There are too many key states in which he is not even on the ballot in.
And all of this latest “surge” is based on 3 sudden insignificant early states that don't matter in the count until the convention.

It’s the blacks and Hispanics who overwhelmingly voted for Prop 8 in California. Jews voted for a Catholic over a fellow Jew in a district that was Democrat for 90 years because of gay marriage. And you want these issues to be off the table? If all you have to offer is the economy then Obama will win once the economy gets a little better.
