schools aren’t not all bucolic and playful today as in days of yore, the kids of today are dangerous, unpredictable and even more so when in gangs/on drugs.

the little bandits ruined it for the young scholars.

No the “little bandits” didn’t ruin it.

The administration’s inability to run their school did.

The administration’s inability to control the troublemakers.

The administration’s inability to protect the good kids from the bad kids.

All of THAT is what led to this.

It IS NOT the students responsibility to police the other students. As a matter of fact, if kids try to intervene when others are doing wrong, the ones who are trying to do good are punished.

(I could replace any and all instances of the word “inability” above with the word “unwillingness” and probably be more correct.)
