I remember many moons ago on one base where I was stationed, we had these huge paper pads in each stall. Everyone used to go in to read what was written there. The pads were tear off so any offensive stuff could be easily removed.

It was kind of an honor if you made the board.

Tried that at one place I worked, but they had to give it up.

Some of the engineers routinely got so wrapped up in the problems/plans they were using the pads for, that ‘rescue parties’ had to be sent after them.
