Considering this piece was satirical, it's pretty much a moot point. The subject kid got what I feel was warranted due to his adolescent behavior and hopefully learned a life lesson.

You on the other hand feel the kid needs to still be treated as a child and nurtured.......I can understand that.

You and I won't ever agree on the proper course of action but I'm confident that my assesment will benefit the kid more in life than yours will.......
