What a shame about the Nemacolin ski lodge fire. My boyfriend actually wanted us to drive up there yesterday afternoon to watch the skiers. I told them we had just done that a few weeks ago.
At least we saw it a few times recently before it burned.
Nemacolin is amazing. It even has a private jet landing strip. It’s this really upscale—yet surprisingly affordable— world class resort, tucked into the middle of nowhere SW PA.
I used to do retail vendor audits (I know my life really is boring) but the company I worked for had the national account for a product line there. A couple of us (it was a larger job so we worked in teams) did an inventory at the lodge store there. This older man would always buzz around us all (all women) chat. Found out later it was Mr. Hardy. He had more family troubles this year.. Wasn’t one of his teen daughters badly injured in an auto accident?
