That Super Bowl was 25 years ago. Theres a new book out called Super Bowl Monday about that game and that the game was watched on a monday for the troops oversea in Kuwait watching that game.

Probably the Best rendition I have ever heard.. With Desert Storm and her singing this, I was in Tears. She seemed so genuine in her emotions towards the song. I will always remember that moment.

I absolutely hate how "creative" artists have to monkey with a perfectly good American tradition. The Anthem is in TRIPLE time, NOT duple time. The difference is significant.

Thanks for posting this. It was the best rendition of the National Anthem I have ever heard. She didn’t try to jazz it up; she just sang it from the heart. And it went to the heart. Her premature death defines the word “tragedy.”
