This is one of the best speeches I have ever heard. Ever. It is perhaps the clearest and boldest proclamation of liberty and American exceptionalism since Ronald Reagan - and from an Englishman, no less.

Even though Daniel Hannan is clearly a gifted orator, the real reason he espouses Conservative principles so clearly is this: He believes in them! Would that we had more political leaders who could explain Conservative philosophy so well. The fact that most cannot belies the fact that they do not believe their tortured words.
