If you listened to Newt’s speech yesterday, he said we have to abolish the EPA, get rid of all the people associated with it, and replace it with an Energy agency that will exercise Common Sense and Balance between our energy needs and responsible environmental policy.
Listen to his CPAC speech. When I say I believe he will do what he says he will do, that is what I’m talking about, his vision for the Future and immediate steps he would take as President...not what he has written in the past in his numerous books.
Please note the diametric difference between the tenor of the CPAC speech and WHAT HE WROTE, on his own and with plenty of time to reflect. You have no idea how the content of his CPAC speech would translate into consequences on the ground.
Inasmuch as I would love to convert his commitment to stewardship into concrete action, he would have to take said action before I would trust his word.
