Disagree on one point.

Those three elections/caucuses he won did mean something, and the results proved he is now perceived as electable. Hence, his fund raising (from what I've read) is soaring and his national poll numbers now put him on top.

No secret that I support Santorum, but I could also vote for Gingrich.

The bigger picture is being missed by many here. The fact that Santorum has risen has not only taken some votes away from Gingrich, but it seems to also have taken votes away from Romney.

Take heart Gingrich supporters. While admittedly things don't look good for Gingrich, there's perhaps a bigger and more meaningful story unfolding, the decline of the Romney campaign.

What you are saying is all well and good in context, but now that Santorum is back in front, Romney will either train his cannons on Santorum, or else they had a deal all along and they will both take down Newt while he is most vulnerable instead, and later work it out after they are the last 2 standing. There is that very real possibility.

I am really finding it hard to stay engaged in this mess. It is just getting uglier by the minute.
