“Reportedly occurred at 2:45 on the 10th, gold and three fat was assassinated in their own villa,”
I take it that he was killed for being fat and rich?
Understandable in a country where the common people are eating tree bark to survive.

For some reason, I just can’t picture Kim “Pork Chop” Jong-un as being “on the run”. I don’t think that boy can move that fast.

If true, could be good, could be bad. Either way, to bad the news is not about someone else on a Chinese Campaign Fund raiser.

“that some kind of coup is taking place”
even if true, it is impossible, this soon, to determine if that is a good sign or not
neither extreme instability at the leadership level, or a very successful and complete coup automatically mean security benefits for South Korea
instability could cause those with sufficient control to produce a major incident with South Korea, as a nationalistic measure and means for consolidating control under the “national emergency”
or
those who produce a successful coup could have chosen to do so because they believed the leaders were NOT SUFFICIENTLY hardline toward’s the South
the U.S. and S, Korea simply need “all antennas” up, and wait and see
in the meantime, extra preparedness measures would be a prudent thing to do

If it’s a coup then the Army has to be in on it. Either actively or by consent. Only way a coup works is if you have the Army with you.
