Up here in the mountains, we watch out for, have concern and care for neighbors and friends real time.
Here everybody knows everybody for 15 miles around.
Theres a difference between you looking out for someone and they depending on it. He,at leasy in my opinion, took exception with people expecting or depending on it.
How dandy for you and your friends up on the mountain.
You should come down out of the clouds once in a while and note the direction of much of the rest of Obamanation.
Did you bother to read Murray’s comments?
All he is saying is that too much of the country has become accustomed to relying on someone else to take care of them; and that the American way used to be that we all strove to pull our own weight, with maybe a little something left over for those around us.
I don’t know about up there on high but across too much of the fruited plain the enemy IS anomie, among other structural curses and blights...and at least Murray, damned near alone amongst celebrities, is speaking out against it.
